Journal on

Today, buy a notebook.

Simple enough, right? Buy something with lines and pages and space to write. It could be fancy, it could be 50 cents at the drugstore.

All it needs to be is full of your thoughts.

Whether you’ve suffered from depression, anxiety, or just the regular ins and outs of daily life, writing those feelings out on the page has been shown to help solve problems more effectively, resolve disagreements with those in your life, clarify your thoughts, and help you get to know yourself better.

Keeping a journal can also help you track recurring patterns and recognize improvement and growth over time in any area you need. You might even identify some areas you didn’t realize you were growing.

So today, just begin. It might be a lot easier than you thought.
