Reach out to someone

In life, sometimes all it takes to feel better is an ear to listen.

Today, reach out to someone who might be in need. Whether it’s a quick FaceTime with your best friend, a friendly text to a coworker, or calling someone you’ve been meaning to catch up with.

From social media to video chatting, most communication sites online offer free registration so you can hang out with friends near and far from the comfort of your couch and pajamas. For group hangs, we suggest checking out Zoom, Skype, or hosting a virtual Netflix Party.

Studies show that we have the highest level of well-being when we cut the small talk and have more meaningful conversations and experiences with one another. And it all starts with reaching out.

According to research, it could decrease your stress levels– and help us all to feel more optimistic.
