Take a hike!

Today, make a date to take a hike. Get out and get some fresh air.

Get out into nature.

To start, look up the nearest hiking trails. Most parks have beginner trails that require little to no climbing so new equipment isn’t necessary. Just a pair of sneakers and some bug spray.

For your body and mind, the benefits can be endless. Spending quality time outdoors has been shown to reduce stress, calm anxiety and can lead to a lower risk of depression.

The great indoors might offer TV, but the great outdoors offer a lot more.
